First Lady Williams
This powerful, anointed, angel of the
Lord is an awesome praise and worship leader, talk show
host, mentor and mother who continues to empower,
instruct, and help lead a generation of believers in
this millennium.
Tracey D. Williams is the daughter of Mr.
& Mrs. Johnny Dockery. She was born and raised in
Laurinburg, and graduated from Scotland High School.
Tracey went on to pursue her dream of becoming a
hairstylist and received her Cosmetology Degree from
Chris Logan’s Beauty School in South Carolina.
At an early age Tracey realized her God
given ability to sing His praises with power and
anointing. When Tracey began to operate as a psalmist,
she received her calling to preach the gospel of the
kingdom. November 2005, Evangelist Williams
received her license under the leadership of Bishop T.
Dwight Williams to preach the good news of Jesus
Christ.
“Lady Williams” as she is referred to at
From The Word,
is
the spiritual mother and mentor of From The Word
Ministries’ praise team. Out of her sincere desire to
invoke the praises of God throughout the earth, Praisers
From The Word praise team was born. Lady Williams
encourages the group to always sing unto the Lord a new
song and they did just that in their debut CD entitled,
“A New Praise”. Their project was nominated by The
North Carolina Gospel Announcers Guild for “Best New
Choir”.
First Lady Williams and Praisers From The
Word have performed as opening act for The Williams
Brothers and Angela Spivey. These dynamic praisers have
also appeared on The Bobby Jones Gospel Artist Showcase
and many other platforms along the East Coast.
Lady Williams and Bishop T. D. have been
married for 13 years and are the proud parents of three
beautiful daughters: Kinesia, Jatoya and Takiya.
